This one touch passing the ball about in our half of the midfield, really winds me up!!

As they inevitably lose it and end up defending really deep or they pass back to the goalie to lump up front where possession gets lost anyway!!!

Although Lawrenson seemed to think thats the way to play international football. I think he said something like '... as long as you keep possession, it dosn't matter if you get jeered for passing back to the keeper...'

I'd much rather they showed abit of ambition and ran with the ball!

Remember that skill called dribbling? I think that most of the England lads seem to have forgotten....

Both the second and third goals came from the younger players who were prepared to 'av-a-go' ie Walcott & Welbeck and IMO they'll need to show much more of that to get past the Germans, Italians, Portugese or Spanish....

It'll be interesting to see how/if Rooney fits in to the picture on Tuesday!!!
