Been a father for 18 years now, never recieved a card or anything. Then it is my choice not to celebrate this day. I find it rather distasteful I am afraid, more american imported rubbish. Just another day to try to take money off us.

Sorry to sound miserable about it, it is not meant to sound that way. It is just another day in our household. Oh yes and I don't buy anything for my father as he feels the same as I do. But my brother does buy him a card and a gift.

to which she said "can I get you a beer daddy" considering it was 8am it was rude of me not to ;D ;D ;D ;D

didn't want to break her heart :-[
