last friday there was an unplanned trip to İstanbul for several reasons.. generally I prefer not to take any cars as I dont know the roads of İstanbul..but I had to go several places so taxis would be expensive there.. so for cost and parking reasons I took the small car..
on the road Tomtom really helped me and it would be hell of a mess without it as I experienced from the last visit..
 
its another kind of huge city around 9-10 million population.. and you could easily be lost without a trace
 
I took the pictures (with mobile 5mp ) inside the car on the road while driving with my shaking hand so their qualities may not be as expected but there was not much time  to stop ..

 this is the first bridge (Bosphorus bridge) and there was repair on the second

 
some parts of the city are really nice.. this is Çengelköy where there are quality fish restaurants..

Looks great and never spotted a pot hole anywhere  A life of drinking fishing sunbathing and eating ...cant see why you like it there

beautiful city really.. but living there is expensive and you need strong nerves where stress levels will be high ..
 
parking is big problem too.. most people at nights dont leave home as later they cant find parking area
