.... and no. I dont want it.  One of those fekkers and a poody tat jammed under the front wheel whilst heavy breaking cost me my two front (second) teeth back in '69 or '70.   >:( >:(

Had wallies of some sort or another in the front ever since !!  ::)  ;D

Not a bad starting bid there Rob, but this is a classic don't forget  :D. Think you could be getting it mixed up witb the ode Boneshaker or Pennyfarthing  ;D
Got one in the shed :P :P
thats one of the new build things, not a proper 80`s chopper.

Yes the original one had the nutcracker gear change , found that out many times  :-[

How many of us actually had a Chopper though? And what colour was yours?

Mine was yellow.
Can you remember what was written on that white strap on the seat? ;)

Mines was purple, with the gear change on a very dodgy position! Loved that bike though, must have been aroundc12 when I had it

Mine was red and the writing on the seat strap was a warning advising against carrying passengers IIRC

Had one of the first ones on my estate. Bright orange with the high saddle roll bar. Had some of the happiest days of my life on that bike, loved it to bits. My best mate and I modified ours with racing bike front forks to make them look more like the choppers in Easy Rider, he was Peter Fonda to my Dennis Hopper. I well remember a certain young lady friend used to like riding with me as pillion passenger, I can still see that pert little ass going up and down in front of me. Those were the long summer days!!!

Well Dennis Hopper, you would sooner of had some young ladies bottom wigglin around ifn front of you than to take notice of what it told you on the seat!  ::) ;D

I was gonna post a picture on my pink chopper but then I noticed Sherlock Gixer was online and he'd only be trying to pull the end off his all night when he saw it. ;D
