What is the best sports car for people with long legs ?

I had a ford Capri in 1972 and could stretch my legs out to infinity and beyond.

The Omega was great as well.

My daughters mini one is about the best i have tried recently oddly enough though you wouldn't get in the back seat .

I now have a Nissan Xtrail which is a completely different sitting position and just about works for me.

Now i want something to play with at the weekends,that i can pose in and look a complete idiot but comfortable ?

I found RX8 Mazda quite roomy, I'm 6ft5, most of my height is in my legs. Even with my seat set right, my dad (6ft4) could sit behind me in comfort!

Dirt cheap these RX8's too, heavy on fuel and oil, but if its just for weekend?

I'm about 6' 5" and mostly legs i'll have a look at that Mazda.Most old gits seem to buy a porsche but i'm not sure i'm wanting that !

Having driven one - depending on your budget and what you could get, exactly, do it.. If you can stretch to a good 997 911 or maybe a 996 if you really have to.

My MGB roadster (1971 vintage) was one of the few cars I've had where the seat has not been fully back !!! (Omega / Granada were the others )   :)

Depends if by Sports Car you mean one that qualifies as such by its' performance alone or just because it looks "sporty", but is in fact pretty run-of-the-mill. ;)

Indeed. Seat right back and there's way more room than I need at just a shade over 6', so I guess it'd be OK.  No ball of fire if you're looking for a sports (as in performance) car, though, but they are great fun, I'll give you that. :y

stick a turbo or a supercharger on it then you can have some really good fun ;D ;D :y
