I wanted a chrome tail trim that was not big; just similar to the existing, but shiny rather than brownish blackish.
Got one of the bay. a slash cut outlet as I wanted the end to follow the curve of the lower bumper if possible. When the pipe arrived it was the wrong pipe ordered, wrong size to slide over the existing pipe. But, I noticed that the pipe on the car narrowed down about an inch and half after exiting the back box. If I cut the pipe off and fitted the trim over the narrow part of the pipe, it would sit further back and would look nicer, I thought.
So this is what I did.
Here the pipe before any work.

Used a chain pipe cutter, well oiled.

What's left?

New trim fitted. Nice and tight.

I'm glad I received the wrong size pipe in the end!!
The hangers from the rear of the back box have now gone, of course. But the front ones are holding it up well. In fact I can't tell any difference. but I will be fitting a universal hanger clamped to the joint as well.
I have also fitted that boot spoiler. I did prepare some pic's for it but I'm not satisfied with the finish so it's coming off to do again.
