First some history of the Deuce.
A summary in video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DNBmVNPSXV4I built this on a 1947 Ford chassis previously used for a hot rod and already modified for a Ford Deuce body. The body is a GRP replica of a Ford model B. Pre SVA and a DVLC amnesty at an NASC event, meant it's a completely legal classic now. Took me 6 years to build. Has a Chevy Small Block 350, 5.6 Litre V8, with Edlebrock inlet, Holley 650 cfm carb, yada yada yada!! My first trip after the first MOT was from Ipswich to theIsle of Skye run to raise money for the Lifeboats. It's main function is raising money for charities.
Model B's are the quintessential hot rod. Ford's first car with a V8 motor. I fell i love with them as a child. My sister dated an American service man who bought me model kits of American drag cars. Then I watched the film, American Graffiti and yes, that is a film that changed my life!!
My car is more of a rat rod/ show car mix as I painted it with rattle cans and built the rest on a budget. The Grim Reaper, I painted with a paint brush!!
Before my recent artwork.

As it is now.
