Elite or MV6
« on: 05 July 2012, 16:20:27 »

Ive recently purchased what i thought was a 3.0l petrol auto estate elite as it has the Elite name badege on the door. i have just received the log book and it says that it is a 3.0l petrol auto estate MV6 and no mention of 'Elite' on the log book. I have seen previous topic where it is either one or the other. It is a 'W' plate 2000 registered 08.08.2000. Any advice would be appreciated.

Early F/L Elite Estates quite often are registered this way, ours is too. Don't worry about it  :y

But surely ther must be a difference between an mv6 and elite? Engine wise? Trim wise? Think I'd want this 'confusion' sorted. When the owner goes to sell the car in the future, what does he advertise it as?

The car does have Elite wheels and the spoiler at the back of the roof if that helps to confirm, although I know wheels can be changed and spoilers (this does look factory fitted) added but just trying to find an answer

yeah i'd say you have the elite cause i've got the mv6 estate on a R reg and it dont have the heated rear seats or the 3 memory settings either. unless mines just to old for that luxury. ;D

;D Yes they are floppy. ;D

If it has self levelling, and not plod, then it's Elite. :)
