Just bought some petrol for the mower and contemplating my first step into the garden this year... :-/

If I get the mower out it'll only rain again, won't it?

Oh, and I dumped my waste oil at last, all 50 litres of it. :o Ignored the shifty bloke at the tip who was suspicious of the quantity. ::)

Kevin

i dump mine at work in the waste oil bin. should really get rnd to doing it.

although at this moment in time my car is dumpin it for me down the underside of the car and up the boot when im driving.

The Mechanic who does my MOT's has a space heater that runs on old oil so I help keep his workshop warm!  :y

That takes me back!.....
I`ve got the plans to D.I.Y one of those; from an old LPG tank and some cast iron piping/fittings and a fan.....plans were printed in the magazine"Mother Earth News" from the era of my 'hippy-yoof' in the 70`s
Elf and safety folks `would doubtless have a fit; what with fumes and fire potential.  ;)

teal bummer when you want to do it but you cant, ive had another attempt at getting atf nut undone but cant so decorating now instead lol.

richie

have you tried wd40 or an evivilant. if not to get it off you might have to take the sump off!

nut is completely rounded off, nothing to grip to. easier to pay someone else to do it now i think.

richie

I got me a set of these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/4-Piece-Super-Wrench-set_W0QQitemZ150234115993QQihZ005QQcategoryZ20773QQtcZphotoQQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem  last sumer, and they keep coming in handy, they even grip round bar and rounded off nuts.

if that helps

Aloready done two cuts this year, needs a 3rd :(

weather has been nice here so decided to have a 'me' day - no cars, no oof, no programming, no tidying up, nothing.  Went out and had an appalling round of golf, and met up with a few mates...
