Radio code problem
« on: 08 July 2012, 19:31:37 »

I had a problem with the Aircon/heated seats so ended up pulling the fuses to find the problem, unfortunatly I pulled the stereo fuse by mistake so it's now asking for the code. I have the code but after 2hrs with the radio on it still shows "SAFE" (just safe no numbers i.e how many attempts left) I know it can take sometime depending on the amount of previous tries but I havent been able to even enter it once yet, do I just wait or is there something else I should be doing? If it has been done 10 times in the past is there any way to unlock it or do I have to get a new one.

it's a CCR 2006 model Radio/Cd

The critical bit is the start - ign ON, radio OFF.  That is important.
