Stuck my old ldv van on gumtree, Its free but soon drops down the listing which to bump costs just under £6 and all i have got is text muppets so far..
Autotrader online prices seem to have gone up and costs just under £30.

An ebay classified costs hopefully a one off insertion fee of £15 which im leaning towards.

Any other opinions from the traders on here to weed the "i have time on my hands chancers" from the true buyers?

Indeed. But in amongst the scammers and dreamers, you stand a chance of a genuine. Unlike gumtree and other freebie services

I think an ebay classified with best offer ad is your best bet tbh.
I find AT to be pretty dead at the moment, I get very very few calls from adverts on there.
Free adverts are a waste of time, I've never bothered with them.
For me, I get most success with ebay classified ads with best offer.
The best offer function allows people to obviously make an offer, but the timewasters just do that and don't call, the genuine people make and offer and make a call, then an appointment...and there's your sale.
What LDV is it? 400, Convoy, Pilot, Maxus? Used commercial prices have increased through auction. I put a 2003 Transit 350 LWB through auction, and got £28 less after selling fees were taken than I had it advertised at. A local auction may be actually worthwhile?

Thanks Josh, that's what i have done.

ex post office convoy, short wheel base high top. prices do seem all over the place.The usual low mileage with lots of interior wear and London dents.
