Now you can call me an old woman (I've been called worse) but I rather like this 10% cheaper thingy from ASDA. Just been online with yeaterdays receipt for £32 and got a voucher for £3.38 because tescos was cheaper. It's been running for ages but, being the cynical old git I am, I thought it would be a load of cobblers. I've put in about 10 receipts now and always got a voucher (ranging from 70p to £3.75).
Give it a go, you know you want to
I'm becoming a grumpy old bastard just like Rick Wakeman and Geoffrey Palmer.

What really pisses me off is downsizing a product without downsizing the price.
100g of Douwe Egberts coffee........now 95g.......with the 200g jar reduced to 190g. Is the new jar 5% cheaper......Is it f**k.

Then we have bags of sweets.....250g. Now often 225g.....215g or even 195g.

Check out that one litre carton of fresh orange juice in the fridge, many are now 900ml.

What annoys me the most is that the food industry insist on keeping the packaging the same size so that's it's easier to dupe the consumer.

Don't expect the government to step in on behalf of the man in the street either.........The mighty food industry will eat them for (a 10% less) breakfast.
