A404 was well behind. Almost upon junction 10 of the m4. Pressed the button as the
Light was red. Jus to see.
Apparently i was on the 404 still, with 5 miles of stationary traffic southbound.
Might have seen 3 cars on the whole stretch over both carriageways. It's useless round these parts.
I think, since the switch off started, those still transmitting are transmitting old data
seems so. Add in the missing sensors prior to accessing the motorway, it was useless locally some time ago.
It was great in the Rover, as the range was well over half a mile. Thus, approaching M40 at Banbury, it would pipe up at the top of the hill, giving loads of warning. The Omega's range was nowhere near as good.
Many moons ago we plumbed in some TM Freeways (same thing thing, different box) into some Armoured Cash Vehicles and couldn't get the Range to work properly, ended up putting a 1/4 wave Antennas on the roof and was quiet stunned how well it picked up TM well before it should have done.
Because of that I ended up putting one in the house with a UHF Yagi in the loft, about a good mile from the M25 so I could monitor TM whilst still supping me Tea before I left in the mornings, worked a treat.
