I reckon it depends on the way the eggs are prepared.

Should the eggs be soft and fluffy (in the classic sense) then the addition of beans with their sauce would not appear to me to be in the least appetizing.

For a breakfast I would stick to the eggs only (add a wee bit of smoked salmon or pancetta if you're feeling flush – or buy them when on offer, they freeze well) serve them with some good seed bread toasted and spread with butter and wash the lot down with freshly made real coffee.

Aside from the culinary niceties of whatever the received wisdom is on this question, the important thing is to ensure that a breakfast is taken in the first place as part of any sensible nutritional regime.  By adopting such a regime any undue surges or dips in blood glucose levels can be avoided thus helping to prevent overeating or craving foods that may well be detrimental to good health.

Just my two Euro cent's worth - not lecturing or finger wagging. Right?!! :-* :-* :-*
There you go again  ::) ;D ;D

Can't stand scrambled eggs :( :(
Fried, poached, boiled ( soft or hard) even an omlette  but not scrambled :y :y
I agree Branston beans best by miles :y

Eggs are rancid. If you saw something drop out of an animal's @rse what on earth would posess you to eat it? :o

Beans, on the other hand, go with anything. :y

If the weather is cold and wet, so I don't feel like a cold sandwich, I find brown bread (best if home made) toasted with a fried egg or two and half a can of Tesco low salt and sugar beans is just the job.  :y

If you are going out all day and don't want to stop for lunch, then you can't beat IMHO a full English breakfast including black pudding.  :y

Perfect mix  :y ............. as long as they're Beanz  ;D ;D ;D :y

Heinz beans are too soggy for my taste.......and WAY overpriced. :-\ :-\

I go for either Branston or HP........Four tins for a quid at Iceland. :y :y :y :y :y :y
I rather suspect that Andy B is paid in Beanz and Spaghetti Hoops :y
