Hi Ive just read the sticky on paint codes and it has got me totally confused (well Halfords got me really confused to start with!)

I've got a 2001 omega estate 2.6 and the colour code is Z20M which according to everyone is 'petrol blue', however mine is nothing like petrol blue, it's a sort of dark turquoise blue/green colour. it hasn't been resprayed or anything, the girl in Halfords was adamant that the colour was right (until she went outside to check it out !!) any ideas? I know its not a special colour as I have seen other vauxhalls in the same shade. Phoned my VX dealer and quoted Z20M and got told 'petrol blue' ?

every time i type in paint code comes up with PETROL BLUE L20M GENUINE, but then look at the colour and there is 2 types with the same number but one is a purple/green colour but no z20m?

mmm, curioser and curioser, I'll go out and treble check , and get back to you !

only thing can find is its matalic blue paint and 20m and L is none matalic and Z is matalic. there is some z20m on bay for £10 a can GM coulor with GM on can, but have to put reg in to get right coulor sent to you.
