...by the generosity of a certain OOFer!  :o

I shan't name names, as I don't want to embarrass him, but I've only met this fella once at an OOF cambelt meet a couple of years ago.

Anyway, he has a car that I am interested in buying, but he's well over 100 miles from me.  I've not actually driven one of these cars before, so obviously I need to see if I like it before I even decide whether I want to buy one at all, let alone this one.

So what does he do?  Firstly he offers to loan the car to me for a little while, free of charge, no strings attached.  Then he offers to add me to his insurance.  Awesome right, it gets better...

I was planning to drive over to him, leave my car with him, and drive the new car back.  'No need for that' he says 'I've got a truck coming up your way on Sunday to collect a car, why don't I get the driver to drop this car off to you on the way?'

I'm properly tickled pink!!  The spirit of OOF lives on!!  :y :y

Now has two miggs in our house hold. Both 2.0ltr 16v lpg'd. a MFL and a FL.

Sounds to me like the sort of thing an extremely nice car-dealing OOF member from somewhere near oxford would do  :y :y :y :y :y
