What do I want for my birthday.............

Tis my birthday next week and swmbo says I have to go shopping tomorrow and I have no idea what I want...I bought a new battery drill last week, and a saw and a garden mulcher..... ::) ::)

To be honest I have no idea what I want, I have all the tools and equipment I am likely to need and some that will never be used due to changing personal circumstances......

I don't want a sat nav.... :y :y

Any thoughts on something different?............ :D :D

I haven't had anything for my birthday for about ten years. I keep asking for a bit of peace but I never get it.

We both went up in a hot air balloon a few years back. SWMBO thought she'd hate it (it was her idea & she booked it  ???) but thoroughly enjoyed it. A great experience!  :y :y :y :y

Some years ago when I worked in Hertford a balloon crashed in the field opposite, we got invited for a champagne reception as the back up crew needed to cross our land, no one hurt and a party atmosphere... :y :y

Slightly .............. the pilot purposely tipped the basket on its side when he landed.

A former workmate of mine runs two or three hot air balloons.He was possibly the worst and scariest driver Ive ever seen. ::)
He has to my knowledge only had one accident in a balloon though.It was an impressive one though.Basket full of people and hit some power cables before crash landing. No serious injuries iirc though.

Don't knock it till you've tried one, its amazing the different routes I now take and see bits of country I would never have visited...( of course that's because mine is rubbish! ;D ;D ;D ;D)

A Kindle? daughter gave us one each for Xmas, and I'm now lost without it. :y
