Very happy today!

I had a job interview today as an accounting officer, at 10am.  Arrived at 0940, had a very informal formal chat with the boss, Paul.  35 minutes later into the interview.....

Boss: when can you start?  :o :o :o :o

Me: When do you want me to?   

Boss: This Thursday at 9am?

Me: Absolutely, thank you :y

This will be my first job in my new career. I've signed up at my college again to do the 2nd year of studying and my new boss is fully supportive!

When you were made redundant, I said you were taking it rather well. It just goes to show what a positive mental attitude can do. Well done mate. :y

Thank you all for your best wishes!

STMO123, your right. As gutted as I was to be back out of work again after 6months, going to college last year was the best thing I did.  Now someone has given me the opportunity to gain experience, it's quite moral boosting especially in the current climate!  Add that to changing career directions completely AND being over 40, I feel very lucky.

Fingers crossed it's all I hope it to be and that I am all that they expect of me :y
