Hopefully its just a short fad
« on: 08 August 2012, 19:26:55 »

The lycra boys.

Hundreds of the gay idiots.  All on shiny new hardware, and in crisp, fresh, bright skin tight lycra, the gay muvvers ;). Can't think whats brought all this on ::)

Each to their own, and fair play to them. BUT FFS, why do they have to ride 2 abreast on a main road at rush hour, and they get all shitty when you use the horn. Bloody retards.

Still, the Olympics are nearly over, so I suspect 99% of them will give it up like they gave up their gym membership in February ;D

This is the worrying thing - I've been cycling for the best part of 5 years (all in an effort to make up for the vast amounts of food I put away) - but people now might think I'm a fad cyclist. Until I tear past them in an orange-clad blur...

...oh, and I can't grow my sideburns at the moment either, because people with think I'm easily led by the Sun...

I was saying this at the pub last night. The downside of the recent cycling success will be lots of Lycra clad wiggins wannabes with long sideburns, and no clue what they are doing, will be clogging up roads the length and breadth of the country until winter gets here. ::)

I agree.  Real men piss off motorists cycle all year round regardless of the weather  :y :y

Just wanted to get home after another tedious day in the office. 5 miles for 2 lorries and half a dozen cars to get past these 2 'tards, who clearly believe, whatever their selfish actions, they have the moral high ground.

Not sure why I bothered, ended up behind another 'tard in a Pug 7 seater that averaged 30mph for the last 9 miles.

This cycling side by side is really gay. ::)

Dangerous, too. Last time I tried it, it ended up in the A&E department at Colchester. Mind you, perhaps I should have tried it sober. :-\

Middle aged, slightly plump gentlemen should be shot if dressing like that. Bit like wearing Ninja suits on proper bikes.

But any gentlemen who chooses to wear lycra in public is far too much in touch with their feminine side...

If you are doing a lot of miles on a bike & cycling to office, that Lyca can make a difference, your clothes are not all sweaty, I think someone is jealous as they would look like this if they put Lycra on:
