As you are no doubt aware I helped James with the installation of (now) your Omega and we also did Marie's a couple of weeks back using the same kit.

Whilst I'm always happy to help out I wouldn't say I'm "doing LPG installs", partly because on both occasions it's been a real struggle for 3 of us to get through an install to a decent standard in a weekend, and I just don't have the time to do very many, and partly because I see a bit of a distinction between helping members with a job on their cars and taking on a job, involving some fairly major surgery, and the associated responsibility myself.

However, whatever you need to know, feel free to ask. The kits we have used come from this chap http://shop.ebay.co.uk/merchant/u-fit-lpg. If you don't see what you want on ebay give him a call. You couldn't wish for a more helpful guy, IMHO. Mention OOF when you do.

I had my kit installed by james, kev and my self.
the kit and spares all in all cost £700.

Are you askin for someone to fit the kit for you or would you be working too? i sounds like you want someone to complete the install for you.

i personally wouldnt be happy with fitting a kit to some elses motor without their imput throughout the job. i am not sure on the other guys who have fitted kits.

if your going to pay for an install i would go to a proper garage rather then a member.

I would be happy to help out if needed.

Well the truth is that I have talked my sister into an omega. I spotted the nice irmscher 3.0 manual in the for sales and mentioned it to her. She offered to have mine and let me have the 3.0, now I was very very tempted but the rare sensible side kicked in and the LPG is now a big factor.
It is probably something that I would like to try, with some assistance but was really seeing if anybody did them. Purely a time issue as my sister's car failed MOT today.
I wish I could justify the 3.0 running costs  :'( :'(

I feel the same as Kevin and James - assist but not do a full conversion.

That said I'd rather do my own than pay someone and that applies to Kevin and James as well.
