The old girl just tripped over to 83,000 miles as I pulled on the drive after taking Mrs C shopping this morning. Not bad for an 11 year old car in perfect condition ( just touched the desk!) :y :y

Shouldn't be too difficult. I traded in my 1994 a couple of years ago (because the rust was getting embarrassing) at 200,000 miles.

My 2003 2.6 has recently reached 161,000. As always the key seems to be to change the oil, cambelt and tensioners regularly (and on time).

My 10 year old diesel turned 100,000 the other week :) Nothing really compared to some cars.

I'm nearly at 172,000 miles and the car still drives unbelievably well, I've given up checking the oil and water as it doesn't use any, the rear tyres are starting to look a little used though...

Silver Bullet clocked up 189k, still going strong. Rust will kill it before engine, I suspect.

Evening guys, just wanted to say I made 500 km yesterday and my Omega has 149759 (as google converted) covered, running at 90 - 100 mph, around 4000 rpm all the way, although she's four pot grinder she was driving like new. For a car in it's 15 year....can't be better  :y

The 2.0/2.2 is a good cruiser at those speeds. Just takes a while to get there :y
