hi all wounder if anyone has had this .I have a 2.2 diesel est and have just been to cornwall on hoildays covered 2500 miles in 2 weeks ,the problem is that i was driving at approx 60 mph went to overtake a lorry (up hill) and at approx 80mph the engine management light came on and lost power pulled over and stoped and re started arfter a couple of mins all seemed fine.Covered approx 1000 trouble free miles both around town and hard driving along a roads ,then on the way home was driving hard approx 80 plus up slight hill same thing again light on loss of power drove like this for a couple of miles until i could stop turned her off and then on and all fine again . car was full of fuel both times wonder if any one has had this or similar , thanks for taking the time to read this and sorry about the spelling.

Ideally you need to get the codes read.

I've had the same problem on mine for about 2 months but mine is at 60mph which is a bit of a pain in the rear. My codes were for the MAF sensor which i've replaced, EGR valve which i've cleaned and its working as it should, and injector pump and if its that the car will be scrapped ;D

If your code is for the maf sensor let me know, I have a new one at half the price that Vauxhall will charge you  :y

Clean out all the inlets, check live data on MAF and inlet pressure.

thanks for advice will try and clean all inc maf sensor first, dont know anyone with a tech 2 so i dont have the codes if all else fails will have to book her in and get them read.
