SWMBO out of hospital
« on: 27 August 2012, 18:44:39 »

Hi guys,
have just had the worst two weeks you can imagine. Did not want to post up anything until I knew everything was gonna be OK.

Being a mobile  community nurse , SWMBO picked up a very serious "Superbug" infection from her work.  :( :(

She had a small recurrent ear infection which the said "superbug" got into

Poor girl has been really poorly for nearly 2 weeks. Her GP firstly admitted her to Southend hospital but after 36 hours they suggested it was serious & transfered her to a specialist ward at Broomfield Chelmsford where she has been on constant 24/7 IV anti biotic drip up until last night .

All is well now & she was discharged at midday today . :) :) :)

She has to have at least another week off & then be swab  checked before she can resume work .

"Close call" the doctors at Broomfield said .  you never know whats around the corner do you  :-\ :-\

regards, Al :y

Glad to hear your wife is on the mend. I hope she recovers fully very quickly and is completely clear of the bug.  :y
