Was reading an article in some magazine today apararntly VX,Volvo's and saabs are all old people's cars :o
if they are i rather be old i think

Yep there right, on the facelift Meega gm designed in an intenal door pull that doubles up as a place to store your wethers originals :y

ever noticed that OAP's cars with 2.0l or more never go above 45?

and if they have a micra they have sparks appear from the arial?

A sweeping generalisation, as usual. Even if omegas are generally considered 'old mans cars', I doubt that a VXR or sporty astra would be. Anyway, who cares what others think.

I think that over the years, large luxury cars have always been associated with "older" men that are reasonably high earners and probably with a large house and kids that were growing up. Generally the costs involved in buying, running and insuring such cars were fairly prohibitive to the less fortunate. Younger high earners would probably go for sportier type cars as it's likely they wouldn't yet have their own families and went for the image.

These days when most working people earn a much better wage it's not so much of a problem to run a large luxury car, but the stigma remains.

Just my honest opinion ::)

Well I'm a youngster and although people have said its an old mans car I dont care thats there opinion, and I like my car. :) :D
