headlight cleaning

Dose any one know if there is a way of clean the inside part of the head lights where the bulbs go as I think mine have be come dirty as the light seams to be dull on drivers side any help would be grately recived

Headlight plastic lenses can be removed with the aid of a hairdryer or low oven to warm up the black goo sealant then you can carefully pull the lense from the headlight.

Cleaning the silver part is not really adviseable as the moment you touch it the silver comes away IME so I would be inclined to leave well alone unless you could just either blow or flick the dirt off.Once the lense is removed you would be able to give the inner face of the lense a good clean but thats as much as I would be advising,although other may have had more success with a different approach.

If they are that bad might just be better getting another set as most breakers would sell them reasonable but postage and the breaking of the adjusters is then the issue.

Yep even to touch the chrome reflector with a soft cloth will definately mark and ruin the chrome.....imo....leave well alone and just replace the lamp.... :y
