Have confidence. My 2003 2.6 passed last week with no advisory items.

Good luck  :y I always hate MOT time, standing there waiting for the tester to shake his head and do the sucking air through his teeth thing!  ;D

Passed with 3 advisorys. 2 of them being drop links slight play and the major concern, he said was oil leak at the back of head dripping onto gearbox but he was unable to find where it was coming from as it was saturated. Had no idea as I have not been loosing any oil or any oil marks left in driveway. Is thee any pipes at the back of head that could be leaking?

My money would be on cam cover gaskets (specifically one of the half moons at the back of the cam valley)..

Nice one  :y I had a similar advisory but lose no oil either  :-\ mot bloke said my head gasket had gone as well .... it wasnt the head gasket and its fixed . Drop links are easy to replace  :y
Is it right that cam cover's come loose over time ? Im going to re torque them for piece of mind
