I doubt if it is your battery when you said it turned over for you. Are engines not harder to start when cold because the oil is thicker? At least that what I was taught during my mechanics apprenticeship god hnows how many years ago

Do the paperclip/pedal trick or get a bit of help from someone near to you with a code reader or tech2. Give vx a miss or be prepared to lose your wallet

On mine when it was the C/S sensor, remember that yours might not be that, all that happened was that the engine cut out and then would cut back in. Or it would just turn over and not start either hot or cold. Leave it a while and it would start again. Problem is that you cannot test the sensor, unless you know someone with a good one that will lend it to you and you try it. I re-reouted my new one so that it does not go down the back of the block and keeps it out of the way of the heat from there.
