Markdtm had a go at pressing the Meyle HD bushes into wishbones as a refurb exercise. I don't Meyle HD bushes lasted any longer, cirtainly my front bushes had failed after 18 months.

The rearward verticle bush was just starting to show signs of failing, Of which there's a pic Of it in one of the guides somewhere.

We had a group buy of Meyle Hd bushes iirc, which Mark fitted at Newent. Loads of us bought them. No?  I'm sure at least the rear bush was Meyle HD. If not both...?
Iggy21 sorted it with allgerman.

So yes I thought we all had Merle HD...?  Or has may memory gone south again?

"Think" edited into my previous, sorry.  :-[

Its my memory, I don't remember it ;D.

My replacement bushes have always been GM, except the powerflex

So from a wishbone viewpoint, it sames Lemforder are quite poor now, as are Meyle. Doubt anyone will pay the silly GM prices.

Hmmmm....

Seems the sensible route now. :y

Won't put the alignment out either so no need to shell out for a geometry setup.

Probably worth getting one done every 15-20k just to be sure :-\

If no one buys the GM ones then they could wind up being shifted for sensible money... :-\

I get a check done when getting tyres normally, since it's only a tenner if no adjustment required. It hasn't moved significantly for a couple of years, including front wishbones polybushed and rear bushes replaced. Went miles off when the wishbones were changed before that, though. The tolerance on pattern arms appears to be what puts the geometry out.

That makes sense given that the bushes are probably more consistant than the arms themselves :y

Where abouts do you get yours done? There's a possibility of me moving over that way...

Micheldever tyres, more often than not. Normally get someone who knows Omegas there.
