I think the scariest part of them all is the profound level of delusion within most of the contestants; they REALLY believe that they are destined for greatness.....if only they can get to the stage!  

Sadder still , is what it says about us (the audience) watching with eyes of sadistic cruelty; in the same manner as at the fairground freak shows of yesteryear.

Not sure what to watch yet, might try streaming from PC to PS3 as the PS3 has detected the PC today and I have a few Pushing Daisies to work through - I have watched the banned episode as well in DD 5.1

I didn't recognise Tony Blair, but I did laugh at the take off of Blunkett.
Are they all dumb or brave for going on in the first place.
A singer friend of mine, who is very good, tried for the auditions in Birmingham. She never made it past the first round, but some of the others did.
I don't think she made good TV, so never got through.
Is it fixed?  :-/
