Does anyone know of anywhere good to have my Miggy repsrayed? ive got a bodywork guy but he only does patch work

i agree with albs, wouldn't bother mate  :y

however if youre insistent there is a great place in northampton...... brackmills body shop. not too far from you but you'd need to get back as it will be kept over a couple of days  :y

however if youre insistent there is a great place in northampton...... brackmills body shop. not too far from you but you'd need to get back as it will be kept over a couple of days  :y

couple of days ???   ;D  last time I painted a small car, it took 53 days without roof  ;D  I'm not sure I do exeggerate or other painters make a shortcut :P

Sort of agree with Webby and Al,but it depends on how much you love your car I suppose,it's a pity that you don't live down my way as I know a guy who will do a good respray for a £1000.00 solid colours or metallic, cash only of course ;) but he is in Chertsey, Surrey which is a bit to far from you but he has done two of mine and was going to do the third but I'm selling them now instead. :'(

if you calculate proper drying period for all different layers like primer, base coat ,final coat you need at least/minimum 12 days in hot weather ..  :-\  and I neglect the time for disassembling, sanding phases, polishing and assembling phases..
 
of course if old paint sanded lightly and paint applied over it (and you dont remove any part) 7-8 days  may be enough. :-\
 
but must say complete paint here takes 25 to 30 days in avg for most shops here..
