But I thought we could rely on the french to protect us  :-X
Well at least thats what "dave" said  ::)

Don't get me wrong, nimrod (as a airframe) was knackerd but the sensor suit and the lads that used it was second to non  >:(

We can replace the equipment but the experience of the crews can never be replaced.
Even farming some of them out on detachment to canada and the usa to try and keep some skills current isn't going to work forever  >:(

To me this was a TSR2 vindictive incident all over again. we expect that from Labour, after their hypercritical 1964 "White heat of technology" election slogan.

We expact a bit better from the Conservatives Labour Lite. That is the problem when you have with dithering Dave as PM with his steadfast values. ie. tomorrows focus group will provide him with the days vision, morals and direction.  >:( >:( >:( >:(

His last job was as a tea stirring marketing assistant tw*t, that doesn't know is ass from his elbow, so no surprise with what we have got now.  >:( >:( >:( >:(

The big problem with the RAF Intel fleet is that they are using the aircraft airframe hours up at about twice the planned for rate. This I know from some years ago and I expect with China, Afghanistan, Iraq and Iran, this situation has got worse, with no Nimrod to take up some of the load.

Still, it was right to scrap the Nimrods and spend the money saved on overseas aid to keep a few Despots in the luxury they think they deserve.

This to me proves my theory you can't stop a fool acting like a fool. You won't stop dithering Dave acting like a fool as the only person that doesn't know they are a fool is the fool themselves. If they did they would do something about it.  >:( >:( >:( >:(
