ccr 2006
« on: 21 September 2012, 22:03:04 »

Hi can anybody tell me the way to get the radio out. I have inserted the keys and pulled and twisted and pulled again and all that happens is the keys come out. I have also taken out the cd cassette and grabbed hold of the cd and stuck my hand in the cassette bit and pulled and it still wont come out. :'( Any more ideas or is it a crowbar and hammer time

Sounds like keys not gripping - were they cheapo keys?
You may be able to modify them with a small file - "sharpen" key ends up so they grip ;)

The GM double din units stick like hell in the cages. You need good quality keys, not the crap that most factors sell, or Autoleads junk.

As dbug says, you can modify cheap keys with a file, but still not a replacement for quality ones.
