Monaro on 5th gear

They just had the Monaro VXR 500 on 5th gear.  Looked like an awful lot of fun :D

My mate is going to be getting a Monaro in the new year so I'll let you all know what they're like to drive ;) 8-)

Is this a genuine mate or just someone you heard was buying one so you thought you would get friendly with just for a drive in his car?

Did I also hear them say that Vauxhall are bringing the Holden Commodore in next year? A quick look at hht://www.holden.com.au says the smallest engine is in the Commodore Omega and it's a 3.6l v6.

Saw it first on Top Gear some time ago. Think it's the only Vauxhall Clarkson likes... let alone loves. Reckon that'll be loads of fun... big power, simple drive, awesome looks - not like BMW and their 20-setting semi-auto clutchless flappy paddle gearbox and controls.

Bob's mate happens to be the guy I share a flat with. Might get a go myself :D
