Bloomin chaos up north with this rain, all, well most main roads closed and many other with partial flooding, I thought my delay was due to the A19 backing up, A689 towards Billingham, dual carriageway eventually got to the problem, a flood, road coned to one lane, and cars going through appropriately, which means slowly, ::) ::)
Had to laugh at the 2 posh sports cars parked up on the outside lane looking at their cars and at the water, an hour later when a colleague got in she told me there were 3 cars parked....... ;D ;D ;D

No problems getting around in the Jeep..... :y :y :y

Vamps congratulations on your new chauffeur Tunnie.  :P :P ;D ;D ;D

Apparently it has been the worst September storm for 30 years.  :o

Monday was more like a January day with the Max temperature of 10degC followed by 2degC minimum during the night.  :o

Still no ice on the insides of the windows yet, so too hot to turn on the central heating.  ::) ;D

:( Poor sods near us have just been told their flats are going to be demolished as the damage to the foundations is too bad, looks like the whole estate is going to have problems, ie getting mortgages , insurance , selling properties, not a good situation to be in :(

Yes, I saw that on the News, Newburn? near Newcastle...............some questions to be asked of the developers though surly, not that I am sure the residents can do much about it...... :( :( :(
