Been there, jumped up and down on it. 16 stone didn't go through it, and I didn't even scratch the surface. Plenty of serious salad dodgers doing the same. ;D I'd say it's strong. :y

Glass is going to be mega thick, its got to cope with burger munching Americans, over there they would think I'm struggling with 3rd world hunger and chrisgixer would be "average"  ;D

Didn't have that when I was there. :( Mind you, it was so cold you'd have frozen to the gantry and got hypothermia. ;D

You wouldn't get me out on the edge of anything that high up ;D

;D You can see it from half the city! Well worth going up, too - highest Shinto shrine in Tokyo and amazing views of the city (especially if you don't look down ;D) with neat computer terminals that overlay the names of stuff onto what looked like real-time views..

It's dwarfed by the Tokyo Sky Tree now, though I don't know if you can go up that (it's the replacement TV/radio broadcast mast for the Tower)
