I hope it is not true. He was a great person and had fantastc taste in music. 

That said, some 15 year old girls don't look that young, take the girl who ran away with her maths teacher. The photgraphs  of her where hardly that of a child taken on the ferry.

She said: ‘He [Peel] must have known I was still at school. But he didn’t ask and I didn’t tell him.

‘At the time I was just so happy to be on his arm. I was young and he was famous. All I cared about was that I could make all my school friends jealous.

‘I was insecure and impressionable. I suppose I used him for his fame and he used me for sex.’

So, why raise it now he's dead?

Perhaps fame is still attractive.

I used to buy the weekly musical papers and John Peel had a regualr column in one of them (NME iirc) the pic at thetop showed him dressed as a schoolgirl,which I always thought was a bit strange to say the least.
Doesnt put him in the Jimmy Savile category (yet) though.Nothing really comes close to molesting underage disabled children.
The hospital staff who witnessed and knew about what he did but turned a blind eye because of his profile (and most likely his fund raising activities) should hang their heads in shame.It is their job to protect those in their care.
