They say its the last one...last one flying that is. There are others around......The one at Wellesbourne does taxi runs down the runway occasionally :y

XH558 will be reduced to the same level as the one at Wellsbourne. Allowed to do fast runs up and down the runway but not allowed to take off. It is a great shame. :'(

:y Fortunately where I live it flies directly overhead cos the airfield is so close.....how good is that when we can see the whole airshow for free ;)
Its a right old noise when it opens up though.....but imagine that power!
As for the funding its continued extistence as a flier this country would rather give the money to others from other countries that will never do anything for this one yet constantly beg beg beg and seek sympathy for the mess they make of their lives by uncontolled excessive out of control and underage breeding which is encouraged by the involvement of the do gooders who are too free and easy with out taxes from which the various governments have been 'obliged' to make unrepayed loans of billions and 'contributions'! No wonder the leaders of those countries can fly around in new private jets and fund their own armies to stay in power!
Do gooders are the sick and sad who ought to be made to live without their own countries support in the countries they choose to 'take on'. Bet that would lessen their numbers.........and so save this country money to spend on its own citizens and improving the life of them.

It must have been one of the reasons they flew it around the country a couple of weeks ago.  I'm glad I took the time to see it now!  :)
