2.6 low on power

my 2.6 mv6 is very low on power needs 3rd gear to pull up a hill, theres no warning lights coming up anybody know what the 1st thing to check would be i was thinking it could be fuel pump but im probly wrong

Not getting any codes and the fuel gauge isnt working is what made me think it was the fuel pump

I would have thought it would just cut out if there was a problem with the fuel pump, maybe its the multi rams not working? Does it pull well at higher revs?

When was the last time the fuel filter was changed?

wont pull well at any revs :'(, as for the fillter i only got the car last week so dont no
