Wish I could speak to someone at BT. All I ever get is 'automated' or some foreigner that I can't understand. For a telecoms service they make it bloomin difficult to speak to a human.

that's the idea, it's a deflection process at minimum cost. If you get pissed off and hang up it can't be that serious, according to them.
What they don't realise is the oversees call centres are that hopeless they may as well cut them loose, but it's the cheapest way to provide 24 hour "support"

If it's a foreign site I just say " Sorry I can't understand you, can you transfer me to an English call centre please". Trouble is then you end up with a real muppet.
