We've always said that we want to see these Spitfires back home in Britain – perhaps one day even flying over the skies of Britain

Nice one  :)

A report on Radio 4 this morning reported this stating that if they were rusty etc then they would be worth £1m each. If the packing cases were sound then it is thought that they could be recovered in pristine condition with only assembly required and woth upwards of 2m each. :y
It would be great to sea them flying in formation :y :y

I loved to be involved in this. Can you imagine opening one of the crates if it had survived in perfect condition?

If there are 60 of them as some reports say that would bring the total number flying to around 100 planes, imagine that flypast :y :y

Scratch them flying over Dover, have them tow a sign saying we quit the EU, while flying over Berlin in formation  :D

We just need a Prime Minister with some balls and do what the public asks, not that will ever happen.
