Don't for one second think that I have any elegance to that party because I don't.
In fact, I think griffin is a odious little shit who deserves a good kicking. Also he is a closet homosexual (alledgedy)

This "couple" are living proof that tolerance is very much a one way street in this country.An attitude I detest tbh.
As for Griffin and his band of thugs.There are many reasons I cant stand them,but perhaps the most important one is that they give right wing politics a bad name.If you arent "on message" and fashionably left wing,then the only other label the media will allow you to be described by is BNP,racist,reactionary and retarded.They are the stick that the lefty media use to beat all shades of right wing politics with,despite the fact that they actually arent a right wing party.They are national socialists.

I cannot see how asking for the right to be treated the same as anyone else is heterophobia.  I think this is a shot in the foot by the BNP, a pathetic one at that which I hope will just serve to further alienate the far right.

While I would never defend Griffin I would beg to differ.There are still many people who have religious beliefs which give them the view that homosexuality is wrong and sinful.I would guess that in another one or two generations this type of belief will have almost died out,but in the meantime why cant the gay community show some of the tolerance we are asked to show them and acommodate other peoples views ?
I think this case (and others like it) was a put up job,as it is always Christians who are the "intolerant homophobes". You never hear of it happening at Muslim establishments for example.It cant be a coincidence can it ?
Another factor is - google gay hotels,B&B,s etc. and see how many there advertised in this country.

Look hard enough and you'll find that there is someone who is offended by something you, I or anyone else believes in however trivial and weird.  I feel the point in life is to live and let live while keeping your own values but each to their own.

Being serious though.People who have deeply held religious convictions cant be forced to accept other peoples point of view,although they also cant be allowed to force others abide by their views in public places etc.
To force them to accept views which go completely against those beliefs is to abolish the freedom to of religious belief which we have had for centuries. We have just gone past this point imo,and its a bad thing for society as a whole and will end in tears.

Just as Nick Griffins lot give right wing politics a bad name, so the likes of Stonewall and Outrage turn people off homosexuals. I, for one, will not be forced to accept something I find unnatural as anything else. Shouting in my face and telling me I'm a bigot will only make me kick back even harder. I was quite tolerant until I saw Tatchell on the telly. I immediately hated him and he changed my outlook on the whole situation.
As Albs says, this was a set-up, contrived by the ' gay terrorists' and it makes me sick.

Thats not what I said. I said they/we/all have to be tolerant of other peoples views. Not necessarily agree with it, as that will never happen.
