2.2 throttle body

Please help could the throttle body of a 2.2 petrol vectra fit my 2.2 omega as I can't find one near to me and all I can find is vectra one or is there a way of cleaning it please help

I believe its just a case of cleaning it with a can of carb / brake cleaner and a toothbrush  :-\

Vectra has a different breather setup, so not sure if its the same  :-\

Whats wrong with the current one?

That could be any number of things, have you removed and cleaned the throttle body & breathers?

Seems to be that quite a few of us Desmond owners come across this at some time or another, follow the maintenance guides as previously mentioned ie cleaning of all the breather pipes and throttle body and see how it goes. You could always try blanking of the egr valve to see if that makes a difference it did to mine only cost a few pennies on fleabay.  :y :y
