As you know I have organised both The Lakes & Newent Meets for a few years now. I won't however be doing them any longer.
Byron "Seth" will be from now on be organising Newent which I am sure he will do a sterling job.
As for the Lakes not got anyone to organise that yet..

Earlier events have played a big part in my decision Jaime yes. Also the fact that for me the fun has left. I know I swell as a couple of others who have tried to post fun threads have died flat, which after a while makes you wonder if it's actually worth trying..
So I will move on but have a look in from time to time.

I know about the fun element. The larking around seems to occasionally get curtailed by some who take things a tad seriously.

As to any other business, what happened happened, and this is where we are now. For better or worse, rightly or wrongly. Certainly from that point of view, things did not pan out quite as I had envisaged, and for that, I must offer my personal, humble apology.

I sincerely hope you remain a regular contributor here, even though the fun nights we used to have on here 4 or 5 years ago are long gone, probably forever

As well known, i've had my head up my arse at times for various reasons over the last couple of years but reading some of the windups on here has had me nearly pishing myself on many a night and probably kept me semi sane 

Don't get me wrong, I love a good rant now and again but the petty anal bitching over post counts does my head in tbh.
