The Panasonic Viera's are one of the best around at the moment:

All with five year warranty included to
Looks like Amazon has dropped this TV just under £500 must be fate  ;D

The only worrying thing is the limited video streaming services  :-\

One thing that hasn't been mentioned that I could see is regarding the 3d side. Active or Passive!

Is the tv going to be used for allot of 3d viewing? and by how many? If not then what follows may not be that important to you..

I personally would take the LG LM620T over all the others in this respect. Mainly because the LG uses passive technology. I have the older LW550T and love it. I know people with £2000 Samsung tv's and rate the 3d on mine better as its flicker free and generally nicer to look at.

The LM620 is a newer model to mine and I personally know some one who has just bought the 47" version and they are very happy with it.

I am not saying the other TV's mentioned are no good, I'm sure they are, but most if not all will be active 3d and depending on the individual can cause headaches and nausea. You can also see flickering in your peripheral vision if your near a window or other light source.

Just something to be aware of when looking at 3d tv's.  :y

Thanks for your informative reply Richard  :)
Basically it will be for the bedroom for night watching 1/2 people, films, ps3, and as many 3D films that I can get hold of, If I can get on with watching 3D films that is... LG does look good has had good reviews mostly on amazon was a contender till I got put off it, With some saying sound issues, smart tv buggy, won't last five minuets, needs wifi dongle, etc Other than that it does have a very good spec for the money  :-\

Amazon price is now £549, I would be tempted to google the model you are after and add price to the end of the search.  Then get cheeky and see what you can get price matched else where, as mentioned before, my local dealer will try and price match and is offering a 6 year warranty.

Am confused as to why they are oddering a 10" larger screen for £30 less though.

LOL!! Erm I wrote "flick-ering" (without the -) Not quite sure why that is censored. Bit bonkers if you ask me! And the word that replaces it is more offensive! Come on!!

Well went to a shop that sell TV's that are switched on (PC World) and i checked most of them and must say i don't see what all the fuss about 3D is, Firstly I thought to my self is the 3D function switched on  ???  and someone soon came along and said "yep isn't it great" ;D , I was blown away (in a bad way) as it just looks like normal TV but blurry  ;D  no jumping out pictures like i had imagined.. And Next onto picture quality in order i thought looked better #1 Panasonic #2 LG #3 Samusung #4 Toshiba .. Didn't see a Sony's anywhere, Plus the shop was packed out. And 32" looks very small in the shop at least, 42" Looks about and ideal size in the shop but in the bedroom im not so sure... In other words back to square one again. :-X

The shop assistant played a demo 3D file on the Samsung ES6300 40" Active 3D TV and on the Passive LG lm620t 42" and both just look like 2D but blurry ... As for the TV popping out the bed i'd doubt i could afford that  :o Nice idea though ...
