Yet again Hamilton is let down by the car/team.If he hadnt been let down so many times this season he would have walked the championship. McClaren needs some serious reorganisation imo. They are turning into a bad joke.
Pleased that Kimi is looking good for a win.Imo He is without doubt in the top three drivers of the current bunch, along woth Hamilton & Alonso.
Like his attitude too. A few laps ago his race engineer was rabbiting over the radio "blah blag, gap to car in front, blah blah, will keep you informed ". Kimi - "leave me alone,I know what to do". ;D

Yep agree with you. I think Mclaren haven't done very well since Ron Denis was err evicted.

Grieves me to say it but Vettel showed good driving skills to finish where he did.

The only Mercedes finished out of the points . What has Hamilton let himself in for and what have Mclaren let themselves in for with Perez?

It was a good race to watch.

Firstly McLaren never had these problems before Sam Michaels joint them from Williams, he has brought the problems with him, notice how Williams improved after he left  :( :( :(

Great race, well done to Kimi and Lotus ( if only by name, Toleman and really Renault) , great drive from Vettel and Red Bull despite all the problems but I do suspect that Adrian Newey is up to his tricks ::) ::)

Enjoyable race, this is what F1 is about, controversy, skill, incidents and team work.

RON, SACK DAVID MICHAELS, AND WIN RACES :y  :y :y

Varche ... I agree re Mercedes and Hamilton, and McLaren with Perez could be a swerved ball and then some :D :D

I agree re Sam Michaels. :y
Vettel - despite his ham fisted attempts at racing against other cars early in the race he had a huge dollop of luck in the form of two safety cars.He also took waaaaay to long to pass Button who was on old hard tyres compared to Vettel newish softs.
The team also called Webber in for a stop immediately after instructing him not to fight Vettel when he wanted to come past.I dont think Webber even replied ?
They also changed his top gear for a very high one so he could breeze past people down the straight.
Imo his result was more down to good team management and good luck than it was down to him.I admit to being biased though,as I cant stand the cocky little prick. ;D
As for Hamilton going to Mercedes - It could bethe worst possible move or it could be very shrewd.Only time will tell.It wasnt about money as we first though as McClaren matched Mercedes offer but he still jumped.
Appaerently Mercedes had a board meeting earlier in the year to decide whether to pull out of F1 or go at with a blank cheque book, success no matter what approach. The latter argument won the day so they set about quietly restructuring the team. They recruited Niki Lauda onto the board and sent him to negotiate with Hamilton. They are apparently bringing in many new talented people from other teams, and Ross Brawn needs no lessons in how to go about winning.
Also,McClarens contract with Mercedes for free engines runs out at the end of this year, and the new turbo engines are being introduced at the start of 2014.Mercedes as a major manufacturer should be well placed to produce a top notch engine for then.
Interesting times over the next  couple of years.
If McClaren arent careful they could end up on the same slippery slope as Williams found themselves on about 10 years ago.
The only thing I can see which is preventing this currently is the enormous budget, but sponsors can be very fickle indeed.

The yocals around here are sorry to see the back of Shithead Schu, and are secretly saying its not him, its the team haven't provided him with a good enough car.

So doesn't look promising for Hamilton next year, although like Shithead Schu, he is prepared to "have a go". Good on him.

As I recall, Mclarren could not change a wheel, before Michaels arived. I thought they got him in to sort the pit stops, no? :-\

They cirtainly sorted the pit lane cock ups, in any event.

Rosberg is quicker than most out there imo,but although he has comprehensively blown Scummy away,he has struggled to get decent results. ;)

I can only say what the team are (privately) saying when I chat to staff.  But then, what do they know....

Not much by the sound of it. ;D
Regardless of that - I think their main focus will already be on the 2014 car. ;)

If I remember correctly all those pit lane cock ups were after the antipodean arrived. His record at Willaims was to drive a good team further down the pan, look how they improved after he was shown the door.

As for Kimi, he doesn't need a lot of words to say what he means ::) ;D ;D
