Fantastic news thanks to Roger and Mike at Pedders suspension uk.

They have, as title, confirmed a group buy price of £80 if a minimum number of orders of 25 is reached. :y

We have 20 sets from 17 people confirmed as interested. We need another 5 sets obviously, and we're on.

So anyone up for poly rears please copy and paste your name to the list in the link below.

I should add, once we have 25 orders placed, and paid, the Total order will take 6-8 weeks to arrive in the uk from Australia. As I understand it.

It's early days, and there's a few minor details to sort, but the price is good, with a saving of over £30 on rrp.

mmmm Chris changed mine 2 years /16,000 miles back so after 10 years 100,000 miles .... I'm wondering if its worth getting these to hang on to for 8 years ..... I'll probably be incapable of changing them then .....  :(

My experience says no, as there is no scope for tweaking the centre bolt. My car was set up before these were fitted, tyre wear is still spot on, suggesting that the subframe didn't move during the fitting process :y

ie the bush is cicular, with the bolt through the centre and no adjustment on the retaining nut. So if you remove the centre bolt and refit it, it should refit to the same position.
Refitting the bolts should be no different to refitting following a regular bush change.

To put it another way, did you feel the car required a full set up last time you changed this bush :-\

Case rested :y

So, in the new year, that Gixer bloke will probably be over for curry.  While he's here.......

yours where failed long before then though.

And given the towing you do with Chouchesku's palace on the back...? ;)

The main benefit with these is stability IMO. Not firmer so much, but tighter. More accurate. Less slop in a horizontal plane. Better ride. Less articulation in the rear subframe.

It's all good, IMO.

...he can supervise you fitting them. And no bending over in that coy way, it doesn't work.

I'd urge all who want them to buy them this time around. Who knows if we'll get a similar offer in the future.

Recomended, the man said. Where as the old ones flap about so much there's no real accuracy to it, these will hold the subframe much more accurately. Top pad is a bit thicker too, to make up the spacing.

I have pm'd Pedders, so maybe they can clarify some details. :)
