What type of Performance Exhaust do you recommend for a 3,0l omega?

Please keep on topic :)
I have allready got headers which are better.

I'm thinking cat-back systems, to get a better sound.

???  Perhaps you should have mentioned the headers in your original post ::)

And better sound doesn't necessarily equate to better performance! ;)

I didn't really think of that, but now you know  ::)
I thought it was called performance exhaust, im not thinking it will give me extra power, I just want better sound.

Define "better sound", that can mean anything from silent to chavtastic Corsa. Omegas are about being great cruisers, most of us want silence.

If you want chav, take it to somewhere like power flow..

Ah, sorry, for sound rather than performance. I took "sports" to mean performance, my bad.

I think its too subjective to be able to recommend TBH - people like me don't like loud exhausts on anything with less than 8 pots, as I personally think they just sound shite/chav/naff/delete as applicable.  AmigoMV6 fitted one on his, which he loved, that both I and its next owner found embarrassing to drive around town.

Most custom exhaust places will build it to the sound levels you want. Just ensure they don't cut corners (usual bodges are single pipe, and cutting the cat sections, and clamping new exhaust direct to pipe).

I would like to have something like this, and since i'm not a good welder, I hoped you could buy something similar?
And no there is not a custom exhaust builder nearby  :(

Jetex with sport cats is nice.

(by nice I mean, throaty when booted, but quiet on a neutral throttle, when cruising at motorway speeds for example. There is nothing worse than that drone on a long journey. IMO.)

Don't think the Jetex is as loud as that in the video though. :-\

And talking of the video, he needs some decent tyres on that surely?

wow thats a bit more wrap than the makers recommend isn't it?  Could damage the seating.

Ever tried running with the exhaust off after the cat, sounds like a spitfire taking off!
