I like to keep an old bed sheet near where I park and throw that over the screen, under the wipers, in the door.

Or an old newspaper, rubber mat, a sleeping dog, whatever I can find lol

In the morning just lift off  :y

Warm water.

Dont like the quick clear windscreens due to the defraction grating effect at dawn dusk (the lines I can sort of cope with but not the ligth defraction). That and you see loads of tosser Ford drivers with clear screens and zero visability out the side windows.....it makes for interesting roundabout driving sometimes!
