Its T-IV fluid e.g. Mobil ATF 3309 and should be changed every 50K miles

Same gearbox is used in Volvos and Jap cars

I gave this thing a proper prod earlier,my god it gains speed quickly especially in the mid range,did notice though that even in kickdown it changes up at 4k revs presumably as thats where the torque curve peaks :y

Sounds high, the peak torque is around 2000-2200 rpm.

I can well believe that as there doesn't seem much point in booting it as it picks up well left to its own devices :y

It should start to pull around 1400-1500 rpm given the turbo type fitted and run aout around 3800-4000 rpm.

I know,I miss the rear wheel drive but have to say its quieter than the Omega on the road,difficult to hear the engine much at all let alone tell that it drinks from derv pump
