Freddie Mecury and Queen ::) ::) ::) Not my taste at all, but obviously very talented.

I'm with Lizzie, part 0f the beat generation and losing Lennon was a shock especially in the circumstances. :'( :'(

I bet she was Rocker, I'll get on my Lambretta :-* :-* ;) :y :y

Do you know I can't remember? I remember the run up to his death. The house he was having built abroad etc but then I never was much of a queen fan. Now Live aid I can tell you exactly where I was. In a field just outside Littlehampton camping. We had a real groovy thunderstorm that night and we had a particularly loud clap of thunder which we soon found out to be an anal explosion from Philippa!!!! Oh lordy I'm crying with laughter writing this and this was back in July 85.

I loved both Cleggy!  I loved the Easy Rider theme and the Hells Angels with Harley's, but also was head over heals about a Parker wearing, red /white Lambretta 200 riding boy with lamps, mirrors, and tiger tails all over it!! :-* :-* :-* :-* 8)

How I was pleased so easily when I was young ::) ::) ::) :P

One of my biggest regrets / opps ups was never seeing queen live  :(

Out in sausage land at the time and had tickets to see them live.
I had had my name down for a sking course for ages and guess what ............. both came up at the same time so thinking i'd have plenty of chances in the future, I sold the tickets for a shed full and sat back waiting for the course to come up then lady luck strikes  ::) :'( during a friendly  game of footy at the back of the hanger while the kites was fogged in, I broke my ankle  :'( :'( :'(.   That was the end of the sking course and no tickets either  :( :( :(

As for freddy, imho I don't think there has been or will every will be a better frontman for any band ever  :)
A wonderfull opera trained voice and a pure genius of the music industry  :) :)

Greatest track .............. for me it has to be In My Defence off his solo album.
Just love to play it loud in the car, sing  howl along and embarase myself too it  ;D ;D

One of the few who imo went well before his time  :(
